Sue Gordon, former Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence and current Pallas Board Member has joined Primer.ai as a strategic advisor. The company also announced the appointment of Brett McGurk, the former Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, as an independent Board Director. Primer.ai builds artificial intelligence that automates the analysis of very large datasets. Investors in the company include Lux Capital and In-Q-Tel, and its technology is deployed by some of the world’s largest government agencies, financial institutions, and Fortune 50 companies.
Primer.ai CEO and Founder, Sean Gourley, noted that these appointments will add tremendous value to the company as it continues to expand its business offerings in both the public and private sectors: “Given the tectonic geopolitical shifts underway...the ability to establish full visibility into the information our world is generating, and more importantly, figuring out what it all means, has never been more urgent. No one understands this better than Sue and Brett, and we’re proud to bring them on board.”
In addition to her role as strategic advisor, Sue will sit on the Board of Primer’s Federal subsidiary, bringing valuable perspective and deep technological expertise to Primer’s work in government.
