Lieutenant General (Ret.) Steve Sklenka recently joined Pallas after a 38-year career in the United States Marine Corps, with broad experience in Asia. Over his career, Sklenka held senior leadership roles including Deputy Commander of U.S. Pacific Command and head of strategy and planning for the entire region. His last role in uniform was running global logistics and bases for the U.S. Marine Corps. Earlier in his career, he deployed multiple times, including to Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Sklenka completed four joint duty tours, including at SOCOM and as Principal Director for South and Southeast Asia in the Pentagon. Sklenka is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and has a master’s from the Naval War College. In addition, he completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He is a member of several boards and advises companies on innovation, strategy and leadership.
