Washington, DC  Pallas Advisors is pleased to announce that Vice Admiral (Ret.) Craig Clapperton is joining the firm as a Principal. Over a 36-year Navy career spanning naval aviation, nuclear power, and the commanding heights of U.S. cyber and space operations, Clapperton built a record of technical mastery and operational leadership. He concluded his career as Commander of Fleet Cyber Command / Navy Space Command, overseeing the Navy’s operations across cyberspace and space domains.

Clapperton commanded at every level from Commander to Vice Admiral, including Commanding Officer of USS Theodore Roosevelt and Commander of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group. He also served as Deputy Director of Operations at U.S. Cyber Command. Most recently, as Commander of Fleet Cyber Command / Navy Space Command, he led a 16,000-person enterprise and oversaw the establishment of Cyber Group-One, the Navy’s first operational cyber command in the Indo-Pacific region. His breadth of experience spans aviation, surface warfare, cyber, space, electronic warfare, and nuclear power. Throughout his career, Clapperton operated at the intersection of technology and national security at moments of consequence – from combat deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom to expanding the Navy's cyber presence.

"Vice Admiral Clapperton has spent 36 years at the leading edge of how America fights and wins – from the flight deck to space and cyber. The technology and national security challenges facing leaders today are exactly where his experience counts," said Sally Donnelly, Founding Partner at Pallas Advisors.

“The threats confronting organizations today – in cyber, in space, and across critical infrastructure – are ones I spent my career preparing for. I look forward to helping leaders build the resilience their organizations need to stay ahead,” said Vice Adm. Clapperton.

A recipient of the Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Award for Inspirational Leadership, Clapperton holds a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's in National Security Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
