Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Steve Sklenka, Former Head of Marine Corps Logistics and Installations, Joins Pallas Advisors
Washington, DC — Pallas Advisors is pleased to announce that Lieutenant General (Ret.) Steve Sklenka is joining the firm as a Principal. Over a 38-year Marine Corps career built around strategic planning, logistics, and innovation, Sklenka developed deep expertise in the Indo-Pacific region at the highest levels of U.S. military planning. He concluded his career as head of Marine Corps logistics and installations, overseeing the systems and infrastructure that sustain the Corps worldwide.
Sklenka held senior leadership roles throughout his career, including as head of strategy and planning for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Deputy Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, where he helped direct military strategy and posture across one of the world’s most consequential theaters. He completed four joint duty tours, including as SOCOM Deputy J4, where he oversaw logistics for special operations forces worldwide, and Principal Director for South and Southeast Asia in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Sklenka deployed multiple times over his career, including to Panama, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and spent much of his final decade in uniform shaping how the United States plans and postures in the Indo-Pacific.

Sklenka holds master's degrees from the Naval War College and American Military University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
