Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Matthew Glavy, Former Deputy Commandant for Information, Joins Pallas Advisors

Pallas Advisors is pleased to announce that Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Matthew “Jerry” Glavy will be joining the firm as a Principal, following his distinguished 39-years of service. Glavy brings extensive experience in national defense, cyberspace and information operations, and enterprise digital transformation. He concluded his career as Deputy Commandant for Information, serving as Marine Corps Chief Information Officer and Director of Intelligence.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Glavy is a Marine aviator who commanded at every level, including as the President’s helicopter pilot aboard Marine One and as Commander of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, responsible for 14,000 personnel and 500 aircraft. Throughout his career, he deployed in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Iraqi Freedom, as well as numerous humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and evacuation missions. Glavy also held several instrumental leadership positions such as Deputy Director of Operations for U.S. Cyber Command, Commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, and inaugural Commander for the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Space Command. In these roles, he served as an innovator and pioneer in his field, helping to modernize digital transformation within the Marine Corps.
