General Tony Thomas Joins Primer’s Advisory Board

Pallas Advisors’ Tony Thomas will bring his national security expertise to Primer as an Advisory Board member. Primer builds artificial intelligence that automates the analysis of very large datasets. Investors in the company include Lux Capital and In-Q-Tel, and its technology is deployed by some of the world’s largest government agencies, financial institutions, and Fortune 50 companies.

Sean Gourley, CEO and Founder, underscored Tony’s historic advocacy for artificial intelligence on the battlefield as well as his pioneering decisions as Combatant Commander that enabled private sector solutions to help warfighters; “[Tony] will bring firsthand experience to Primer’s work operationalizing artificial intelligence solutions for the DoD and IC.” 

Joining the Board alongside retired Air Force Intelligence Senior Officer Dash Jamieson, the two leaders' strategic advice and support to the Primer team will help build the bridge between private and public sectors.
