Brian brings experience breaking organizational friction and building partnerships between the private sector and all levels of government, non-governmental organizations, and academia. Prior to joining Pallas, Brian served in the U.S. Coast Guard for twenty-five years, including as a Special Assistant and Director of the Chairman’s Action Group to the 20th and 21st Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Beyond his multiple operational leadership positions at sea and ashore, Brian has extensive experience in military budgeting, influencing favorable public policy, developing innovative solutions to regulatory challenges, and leading legislative negotiations. 

 

Brian holds a Master’s in History from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
