DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY

Val brings expertise in strategic and operational planning, organizational systems, and client relations to his role directing strategy for Pallas and the firm’s clients. During his time with Pallas, Val has worked with a wide variety of clients, ranging from software accreditation and cybersecurity to renewable energy and artificial intelligence companies. Prior to Pallas, he served for 29 years as a U.S. Army Officer, including commanding an Infantry Battalion in Iraq and an Infantry Brigade Combat Team in Afghanistan. Val also held posts as the Director of the Special Operations Command Wargame Center and Chief of Staff of the 101st Airborne Division's mission to defeat Ebola in Liberia.  His decades of experience in the public sector provide him a unique perspective on campaign planning, government relations, and the Department of Defense’s acquisition and budgeting processes. 

 

Val holds a Master’s in Advanced Strategic Arts from the U.S. Army War College, a Master’s in Military Arts and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a Bachelors in Aviation Management/Flight from Florida Tech.
