Vice Admiral (Ret.) Mike Dumont is a strategy consultant and board member to high- performing organizations including non profits, higher education, financial services firms, and publicly traded corporations. He recently completed a diverse career in both the U.S. civil service and the military. Mike concluded his civilian career while serving as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and a 36-year military career while serving as Deputy Commander of U.S. Northern Command. As a lawyer and former Federal prosecutor, he has practical expertise in ethics, corporate governance, and white- collar matters. Mike possesses significant experience in government, national security, corporate governance, international negotiations, as well as aviation, aerospace, and defense. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Suffolk University Law School, U.S. Army War College, and National War College.
